In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has imposed an unprecedented challenge in our life, and it made it difficult for us to stay connected with each other. During this difficult time, we came up with the idea to re-connect with each other virtually and carried out “One Heart, One Mind” project. In this project, Special Olympics Athletes and Toyota employees in Japan and all around the world came together to express connection and care for each other through Virtual High-Five video.

Now, the situation is still unpredictable, and there may be restrictions in everyday life. However, please don’t give up. We have planned the second “One Heart, One Mind 2021” campaign to create an opportunity to re-connect with and encourage each other. Special Olympics Athletes and Toyota employees in Japan and all around the world will come together again, and we are going to “be with all!”
